ClearAuth®: MasterCard SecureCode® |
|
With MasterCard SecureCode only you and the people you authorize can make online
purchases using your account.

When you pay online at a participating merchant with your MasterCard® credit
and debit card or your Maestro® card where accepted, a box from your card
issuer will automatically pop up prompting you for your special code—just
like entering your PIN at the ATM. Within seconds your identity is confirmed.
There's no need to get a new card. Registering for your own SecureCode is easy
and in just a few minutes you'll be ready to shop online with more confidence.
Be sure to bookmark this page and check back often to learn about new participating
online merchants and special offers as well as new issuers who offer the SecureCode
service.
How SecureCode Works
Using the latest technology, SecureCode helps protect you against the unauthorized
use of your MasterCard® or Maestro® card while shopping online. It's easy
to enroll and use.
Step 1: Register Your Personal SecureCode
Create a personal SecureCode that only you know. Once your SecureCode is set,
the program works automatically.
Step 2: Shop at Participating Merchants
Look for the MasterCard® SecureCode™ logo at participating online merchants.
(Check the merchant listing page to view new merchants and special offers).
Step 3: Confirm Your Identity with SecureCode
Every time you enter your MasterCard® or Maestro® payment information
at a SecureCode merchant, a box will pop up automatically from your issuer prompting
you for your SecureCode. Within seconds your identity is confirmed and your purchase
complete. The merchant never sees your SecureCode.
